The per-cycle burden on a maintenance-heavy program
For a GLP-1, BHRT, or peptide clinic with thirty maintenance patients, each monthly cycle means thirty new prescriptions submitted to VLS — thirty fax cover sheets, thirty EMR orders, or a combination of both. There is no way to set a schedule and have VLS ship on its own. If the clinic does not submit in time, the patient's refill is late.
This administrative burden scales with the number of maintenance patients and with the frequency of the dosing cycle. A clinic growing from thirty to one hundred maintenance patients is not adding one hundred patients — it is adding one hundred per-cycle submission workflows.
