Patient comms are a real operational lever — if they exist
Every automated shipment text a patient receives is a call the clinic does not field. For a high-volume GLP-1 or TRT program, that is meaningful staff time. But patient messaging also touches compliance and branding: what the message says, whether it exposes medication details, and whether it appears to come from the clinic or the pharmacy all matter.
Refill Connect may include patient-facing notifications for subscription brands, but Refill's public site does not specify whether patients receive shipment-tracking SMS, what those messages contain, or whether they come from the clinic, Refill, or the 503A pharmacy.
