What actually sets the price a clinic pays
When your compounder runs PharmacyLive, your cost of goods sold is whatever that pharmacy loaded into your portal account. That includes their compounding rate per strength and vial size, shipping or cold-chain charges, and any processing fees they choose to pass through. PharmacyLive advertises catalog and formula management for pharmacies, but it does not publish a master price list clinics can browse before onboarding. You typically see rates only after the pharmacy invites you and configures your account.
Because pricing is pharmacy-controlled, evaluation is a conversation with your compounder, not PharmacyLive corporate. Ask for written per-vial cost on your top three SKUs, whether rates change at volume tiers, and what ships separately from the drug line. If you use two compounders that each run PharmacyLive, you inherit two separate price books and two logins, not one consolidated rate.
