Where-is-my-order calls come from missing line-level status
Patient status questions — where is my order — are an operational cost. When staff can see exactly which line is in compounding versus shipped versus delivered, they answer in seconds. When tracking is a single order status, staff have to call or email the pharmacy to find out what is holding things up, which is slower and scales badly on refill day.
Because Wells Pharmacy Network does not document tracking granularity publicly, ask to see live order status in a portal demo and confirm whether you can see per-patient, per-line status without contacting the pharmacy. Also confirm whether status covers only Wells orders — if your clinic also uses other 503A compounders, their tracking lives in their own portals.
