Where Wells Pharmacy Network fits a hybrid practice
Wells Pharmacy Network is a nationwide 503A and 503B compounder — WellsPx3 and WPNScripts connect prescribers to Wells-compounded medications regardless of whether the patient was seen in person or over video. The compounder itself is channel-agnostic, so the medications a hybrid practice orders are the same either way. For a practice whose entire formulary is Wells-compounded, that means one compounder relationship can in principle serve both channels.
What to confirm is whether the ordering workflow is genuinely unified. Wells does not publish detail on how WellsPx3 handles in-person and telehealth patients from the same account, whether one login and one cart cover both channels, or whether pricing is consistent across them. A hybrid practice should verify in a Wells demo that it is running one ordering operation rather than effectively two.
