Storefront subscriptions vs clinic refill scheduling
There are two different refill automation problems. The first is patient-side: a patient enrolled through a telehealth storefront needs their GLP-1 or hormone therapy auto-refilled each month without manually re-ordering. The Rx Spot's subscription model addresses this — the storefront handles the recurring cycle on the patient's behalf. The second problem is clinic-side: a prescribing clinic needs to schedule recurring batch refills for dozens of established patients and submit them in one checkout session. These are not the same problem.
Clinics that already prescribe and batch refills in-office should ask whether The Rx Spot's auto-ship feature supports clinic-initiated recurring orders for a cohort of patients — not just DTC patient-triggered subscriptions. The public site does not confirm this use case.
