What each role should evaluate
An owner should evaluate Tailor Made on formulary coverage and landed cost predictability. Because pricing is clinic-agreement based, the owner confirms per-vial cost on top SKUs during onboarding rather than from a public catalog — and asks whether every therapy they prescribe is available from Tailor Made alone. An operations lead should evaluate the daily EMR workflow: account-request turnaround, portal stability through the November 2024 Provider Portal migration, and how order notifications reach staff at in-dispensary and shipped stages.
A prescriber should evaluate clinical accuracy and speed inside the portal: whether e-prescribing stays fast, whether ship-to-patient versus ship-to-clinic defaults match the practice, and how often orders need correction after submission. Each role's risk is different, but they share one dependency — whether one compounder portal covers the whole refill day or forces parallel logins elsewhere.
