The reports that actually drive clinic decisions
A clinic making business decisions about its compounding spend needs a handful of specific views: what it has spent per medication over time, which patients are on active protocols and when refills are due, what its rejection rate is, and whether its volume is growing or shrinking by category. If a platform's reporting does not expose those dimensions natively, the reporting tab exists but the answers still require a spreadsheet export and manual pivot table.
Ask South Lake Compounding in a demo: can I pull my total spend on semaglutide over the past 90 days without exporting to a spreadsheet? Can I see which patients have not reordered in 60 days? Can I download the full order history for a date range as a CSV and load it into my own reporting tool? The answers reveal how much of your analytics burden the platform actually carries.
