What exactly is PharmacyLive if it is not a pharmacy?
PharmacyLive is the ordering interface layer your compounder provides. A prescriber selects a medication in the portal, the order flows to the pharmacy's dispensing workflow — often via PioneerRx or similar integration — and the compounder makes and ships the medication. PharmacyLive occupies only the prescriber-facing portal step: catalog, patient profiles, batch ordering, and workflow status. It is also not an electronic medical record — it does not chart, schedule, or document clinical care. Because compounding quality, certificates of analysis, and state licensure live with the deploying pharmacy, those diligence questions go to your compounder, not to PharmacyLive as a vendor.
